Permanent Makeup Dresses Up Well

 Nouveau Contour permanent makeup  It feels great to be loved, doesn’t it? Well it’s true most of the time anyway. What’s an exception to this you ask? When you make an appearance on TV and people who love you critique you for how you look, what you say, and anything else they can feast their eyes and ears upon long enough to generate an opinion. You’ve gotta love it.Following my previous appearance on “Sonoran Living,” the live morning show on ABC 15 in Phoenix, it felt like I got my ears tattooed from loved ones expressing anything but love for the blouse I wore on the show that day. None of these people knew anyone else shared their opinion. The central theme was, “Don’t ever wear that again on TV!”

As if it wasn’t already loud and clear enough to raise the dead, what’s really funny is before I went on the air this morning someone on the staff of the show brought up the topic and gave me the same advice about it! Ugh. The reality is it’s just one of those pieces of clothing which has gotten me many compliments out and about in the real world. It just a matter of it not translating well to TV.

Thank heavens, my loved ones approved of my wardrobe today. And thank heavens again that permanent makeup dresses up well on TV, too. This morning, I was happy to have with me on the show, Jodee Lamb, the woman in the above photo. She looked great a week after I did her eyebrow tattoos, permanent eyeliner, and permanent lip makeup. This is a woman who has gorgeous blue eyes, and great-looking lips to go along with a very endearing personality. It was a pleasure to be able to help her and showcase her newly enhanced appearance and facial symmetry.

I am really lucky to have nice people as clients. It’s been a lucky streak which has stayed with for the entire 26 years I’ve been a permanent makeup artist. I hope Jodee and all of my clients come away from our procedures together with the feeling that it’s great to be loved.
