Digital Permanent Makeup Machine “Beauty that never fades.” This is how I often used to describe permanent makeup. Yes of course we age. But our beauty doesn’t simply go away. It just changes. I am inspired by working with beautiful women every day. Some of them are much younger than me. But some of them are older than me, too.
Thank goodness there are other forms of beauty other than the physical which don’t fade over time either. Right now, I will quickly address one of them: words.
I just came across a heartfelt letter from Ricki Pollycove, M.D. She is a women’s health watchdog for the Huffington Post, and has been a TV doctor in the “frantastic” city of San Francisco. It is always nice for me to read kind words from women who have been happy with their permanent makeup. Here is what Dr. Ricki wrote:
Dear Sally,
I have wanted to tell you for many weeks now what a delight it has been to have you do my permanent makeup. Although my friends and family cannot tell that I have had micropigmentation applied to my eyes, my husband sees me as always fresh and more rested in my appearance. In fact, most of the time he totally forgets that I have had your artistry applied to my face!
Your judgment is wonderfully artistic and complimentary to my natural features. The permanent eyeliner adds a strength and warmth to my eyes that is remarkable. Many of the makeup artists with whom I have worked since the application you performed have remarked as to the perfection of line and intensity of color.
In my career as a television personality, the permanent makeup adds clarity and definition to my features without the heaviness of more makeup or eye liner and mascara. Of course when I am on camera I do use more makeup on both my eyes and face. But the subtle additions of the micropigmentation you applied allows me to have a more natural look both on and off camera.
You are unique as a permanent makeup artist, with sophisticated restraint and technical expertise. It is a pleasure to recommend you to anyone who seeks the very best…”
While permanent makeup will fade over the years and require touch ups, beautiful words never fade. Thank you Dr. Ricki. This was “just what the doctor ordered” today. Hopefully, posting this will spark some sort of heartwarming personal memories for everyone who reads this. : )
