Permanent Makeup: A Tale Of Two Cities

Digital Permanent Makeup Machine  sally hayes permanent makeup caricatureNo Charles Dickens did not have permanent makeup by Sally Hayes. At least, not that I can recall anyway. I’ve been around a while, but not that long. Nor am I talking about London and Paris. As I get ready to board a flight from New York City to Scottsdale, I can’t help but comparing these two cities regarding permanent makeup yesterday.

permanent makeup ink The heavy downpour of rain on New York was something I had not experienced in quite a while. Thank goodness I was staying at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, just around the corner from the Tribeca Plastic Surgery offices where I’m working.

A few of my Manhattan area clients cancelled their procedures due to the inclement weather. Staying home or in the office was an even easier decision for a few more women who had booked consultations. I couldn’t blame them one bit for preferring to postpone until my next trip and not venture out downstream..uh, I mean, downtown…to my Permanent Makeup New York location in Tribeca.

A rainy Monday is actually a great day for appreciating the benefits of having permanent makeup. Even with a raincoat and umbrella, you’re still bound to get wet, right? And knowing you can go out with confidence and battle the elements knowing your permanent eyeliner, tattooed eyebrows, or permanent lip makeup won’t smudge, smear, or run off into an embarrassing cosmetic mess on your face.

Meanwhile, in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area, the temperature yesterday reached 107 degrees. And remember, we’re still in May, almost a month before summer officially begins. Going out and about in the heat of the Valley of the Sun meant an equally good chance of topical makeup melting all over a woman’s wishes for an attractive appearance. I heard complaints from a few people about how hot it was so early in the season. A couple of them now want to come to my Permanent Makeup Scottsdale location for their solution.

Like every son or daughter with siblings heard growing up from their parents, Mother Nature loves all of her children equally. In some places she just expresses it differently. Lucky for me, this tale of two cities involves helping women in two of my favorite places on earth.
