Permanent Makeup Raw

Digital Permanent Makeup Machine  permanent-makeup-hollywood-caWarning to Aspiring Permanent Makeup Artists: Don’t get into the business if you don’t enjoy meeting and helping people.

tattoo pigment  I’m blessed and I’m lucky. I attract many clients who I really like as people. I also like helping them to look better and feel better about how they look. And selfishly I do love when I see the radiant smile of a woman sitting in my chair when she takes that first look in the mirror with her new permanent makeup. Mission accomplished.

Maggie Damon is one of those clients and charismatic people who makes such a positive impression in simply being who she is that it has a memorable effect on you. As an actress and producer, she is a woman with Hollywood connections but Maggie shines as a real star being such a genuine person. Here is how Maggie describes her experience with me in getting permanent makeup.

Question: What was your experience like getting permanent makeup?

Maggie Damon: “It was fantastic. I had it done in two sessions. I came in to do the first application which primes you. So it fades out a little bit and then you come back a few weeks or a month later and do your second application.

The best, best thing about it was the compliments I started getting. I went on a trip with my husband and he looked at me and said, ‘Maggie, you look really, really good.’ But I wasn’t wearing a stitch of makeup, nothing.

I also take a ballet class. I was there dancing and several women said to me, ‘Wow, you look great. You put makeup on this morning.’ And I said, ‘No, I didn’t. I have tattoo makeup on, I have permanent makeup.’ And they said, ‘Where did you do it?’ They couldn’t tell. So I think it’s a really good thing.

And I have very, very sensitive eyes, I cannot wear a lot of makeup. Every time I’d go out with my husband and it was a very nice event I’d try and put makeup on, I’d put mascara on, my eyes would be red. They just immediately are allergic. This permanent makeup is great. I’m telling you. I’m so happy. I have no more red eyes. I just wake up in the morning. I do an eyelash curler, and that’s it. No mascara, no liner, nothing.”

QuestionWhat was your experience with Sally Hayes Permanent Makeup?

“Sally is fantastic. She understands what you’re going through, number one, so she always puts you at ease. And what I love about Sally, she’s very fast. And she knows color, because like my skin is a very kind of a ruddy color skin but she knew exactly what color to put on my lips. Now I have a sister who’s doing it and her skin is a wholly different tone than mine and the permanent lip makeup color Sally’s doing for her is a totally different color than what I had.

And as far as the eyes go, Sally was sensitive to the fact that I have very allergic eyes, so she didn’t numb them at all. So I wanted to go for it raw. I got my permanent makeup with no anesthetic of any kind. And you know what? It was easy. Sally did it so fast, and it was done, done to perfection.”

Question: Maggie, did it hurt getting it raw?

Maggie Damon: “Yeah.”

QuestionHow much did it hurt?

Maggie Damon: “Well, it hurt. I’m not going to tell you it didn’t hurt. But you know what? It was like giving birth. In 10 minutes I totally forgot about it. It’s over, and now you’ve got beautiful eyes or a beautiful baby, right?”

If Maggie could get her permanent makeup raw and be okay with it, rest assured you’ll be totally comfortable with getting yours done.
