tattoo ink I hope you enjoyed the look back and look forward with our Marilyn Monroe Makeup series at the time of the 50th Anniversary of her death. It’s incredible what a difference she made in her too short career and much too short life. Her impact on women today can be seen in those who are old enough to remember her as well as those whose parents weren’t in born yet when Marilyn was still alive.
224, 499 online users got a look at what we did during the 5-part series here on permanentmakeup.com. It was picked up by 196 television stations across the country, as well as big time media outlets such as Associated Press, Huffington Post, Yahoo News, Red Orbit, and celebrity.com.
We received some very nice comments about the series. Permanent makeup would have made such a time-saving difference in the life of Marilyn Monroe since creating her image was a full-time effort every day between her and her personal makeup artist.
This project was even was the catalyst to developing a professional relationship with New York Celebrity Makeup Artist, Jill Harth. We look forward to exploring how we might be able to work together to help beautify women in the Greater New York City area as they explore and express their “Inner Marilyn.”
For me, it was nice to pay tribute to Marilyn Monroe whose groundbreaking mission of personal beauty became a legend which is alive in so many women today including me.
