tattoo ink “The Artist” won Best Picture honors and a pair of other Oscars last night. And this Permanent Makeup
Los Angeles artist who works on people in Hollywood wanted to offer her heartfelt congratulations to all of those who made the film about the early days of Hollywood such a big success.
microblading ink I love what I do with permanent makeup in helping women save time and enjoy added confidence in how they look. So to me, it’s always inspirational to see or hear a powerful story of someone else who cares so much about what they choose to do with their life and career.
(By the way, I’ll be working in Southern California this weekend at my Permanent Makeup West Hollywood and Permanent Makeup Westlake Village locations).
Billy Crystal was again the entertaining host of the Oscars. The talk today is about what plastic surgery work he may have had done on his face. Regardless, he may have put smiles on millions of faces across America when he came out with what may have been the line of the night, “Nothing takes the sting out of these tough economic times like watching a bunch of millionaires giving golden statues to each other!”
The last couple of years have been rough around the world, but still I keep seeing signs that the economy is alive. Women will always spend money on feeling good or better about themselves and their appearance. We’ll still get our hair and nails done. We’ll still do all we can with skincare and get permanent makeup because we want to save time and effort in looking our best. And we know permanent makeup helps us to maintain a fresher, more youthful appearance.
While aging is a part of life, we can all do what we can to fight it or enjoy it. In winning Oscars late in life, Meryl Streep and Christopher Plummer showed there are still great things which can happen for us as we get older. It took Plummer to his 80’s to finally win his first Oscar. While Meryl Streep waited nearly 30 years for another Best Actress award.
As a permanent makeup artist, I notice every year the Oscars gets women to take action on their appearance. They see the beautiful celebrities walk the red carpet, or see them on stage or in the audience, and that inner desire to look better themselves just leads them to do something about it.
This year it was Angelina Jolie who created quite a stir with her custom Atelier Versace black gown with a thigh-high slit, her stunning slender figure, and of course her makeup. While she wasn’t nominated this year as an actress, she was there as a presenter along side Brad Pitt.
It’s only a matter of time when my phone rings today and a woman tells me she wants permanent lip makeup and wants me to make her lips look like Angelina Jolie’s. While I can certainly help you to enjoy sexier, thicker, and fuller-looking lips in a heartbeat, I might be worthy of an Oscar myself as ”The Artist” if it was just as quick and easy to give all of us great-looking thighs like Angelina Jolie.
